"Budolpho Von Perfect" was a concept album released on CD in January 2013 under no record label by Evan Mitchell, in which he played all instruments. Evan has toured and recorded under several aliases, most notably as "Evan Mitchell One Man Band".  He chose to release this album under his full legal name, being that it was not true to the one man band formula of playing and recording all instruments in real time at the same time.  He considers this album to be conceptual for that reason, and because it was recorded in a professional studio with clarity as opposed to his gritty low fidelity analog recordings he is known for.  The subject matter of "Budolpho Von Perfect" is also very different from any other recordings of his, dealing with his life experiences of falling in love with a dear friend, and the anxiety of believing his desire to be more than friends would never come to fruition. To his surprise after releasing this album he did in fact become partners with this dear friend, staying together for 3 years and helping raise an adopted little girl with her.

Evan has had other releases on record labels such as DIRTY UGLY RECORDS, SQUOODGE RECORDS, and THE GARBAGE SHOP RECORDS.  He has played shows opening for bands like THE DWARVES, NOBUNNY, and TURBO ACs.  He has also done guest appearances on stage with bands like NIL8 and THE GODDAMN GALLOWS.

Evan is not currently recording or touring, but still plays shows in his home turf of central Illinois when asked.
